Your Pre-Order questions here!

So first off, We want to say thank you for your support and trust!

I've been fielding a LOT of pre-order questions recently as the Mini GT 911 GT3 R Skeleton Rexy has gone past it's scheduled pre-order time frame. We feel that the draw for Rexy, Roxy and S.Rexy is so huge that it's bringing in new people to this section of the market, so they're unaware that ETAs are a LOOSE estimate. Also, with AO Racing, the racing team behind Rexy, Roxy, Spike and Skeleton Rexy liveries, warning customers of scams and fake retailers, I'm sure some of you might be on edge, SO I wanted to take the time to assure you all!

  • Yes, we're an official retailer of Mini GT.
  • We get our stock from the same place ALL RETAILERS in the US do. Mini GT and Tarmac Works have an exclusive partnership in the US with the same distributor. We're in the same boat as multi-million operations at the top of the diecast retail hill.
  • No, we don't have any updates on the pre-orders. Mini GT does not typically give any updates. The only time we get news is when the distributor wants to charge us OR when we hunt the Reddit subs along with you guys for more info!
  • Yes, delays in pre-orders are perfectly normal. We pre-ordered Roxy and despite it being a massive, massive hit, it was still about 3 months late. The 911 GT3 RS in red that we pre-ordered is about 6 months late. S.Rexy is a massive draw. I honestly should have ordered more. I expect Mini GT is prioritizing S.Rexy, like they did with Roxy, to have as little delay as possible. I don't have a crystal ball, but based on the Roxy delay, I'm thinking S.Rexy will be 3 months delayed.
  • Part of the reason why we started this business is because everything Kai wanted was getting bought up. We couldn't find Hot Wheels anywhere. We couldn't find Rexy, Roxy or the IMSA BMW M4s for less than $80 each. SO, we wanted to create a place in our area where people could get some of these cool cars for as close to MSRP as possible.

So, to recap:

  • Yes we're a real retailer.
  • No, we do not have ANY control of the time frame.
  • No, we don't get updates.
  • Yes, delays are normal.
  • The Reddit subs are your best bet for breaking news.
